Low fluid level. Assume you have a float in the master cylinder reservoir.

Need to have the codes read. You could have lost a ground wire. But this wouldn't cause a brake not to work.

I have a 92 ford explorer and the red brake light cuts on with medium braking and under heavy braking the yellow rabs light cuts on as well any idea whats wrong?

this may sound silly but have you checked the fluid level in the master cylinder? They do have a level sensor in there and will cause your symptom, more so under braking or heavy accel, also the e-brake pedal switch can cause this, if the pedal is falling under heavy braking the switch could illuminate the light, then the abs light will come on if vehicle still sees e-brake is on and the is still a speed signal recieved by the abs.

Where is the Hazard/Turn Signal Module Located

Hi. Turn the blinker on and feel your way down to the flasher unit. You will be able to feel it when it is clicking. Replace that unit and that should fix it. Good luck.

I have a 2001 PT Cruiser whose computer has been replaced 4-5 times for this problem, but the car STILL dies on freeway after braking hard in heavy traffic, for a toll booth, or whatever. I no longer...

I had this happen with my 04 pt cruiser but it turned out that the cooling fan was
operating intermittently. Causing high engine temp and perhaps vapor lock.
I replaced the radiator fan (the relay was ok). A quick way
to find out if this is the case is that the air conditioning wasn't as cool as it used to
be. Hope this is useful.

I need a wiring diagram for a 2001 ford f150 trailer hitch plug in. i got a new heavy duty trailer connector and i need to know the color code of the wires

Hey Bryan

I've got them for Six and Four wire plugs

Six wire plugs:

Horse, stock or utility trailers:
White = Ground - GD
Yellow = Left turn/Brake -LT
Green = Right turn Brake -RT
Brown = Tail and clearance lights - TM
Red or Black (not both) = Battery, aux power - A
Blue = Electric Brakes - S

Recreational Vehicle: (color, use, plug mark)
White = Ground - GD
Yellow = Not used -
Brown = Right turn Brake - RT
Green = Tail and clearance lights -TM
Black = Battery, aux power - A
Red = Left turn/Brake - LT
Blue = Electric Brakes - S

Four wire plugs:
White = Ground
Yellow = Left turn/Brake
Green = Right turn Brake
Brown = Tail and clearance lights

Ground should be 10ga.
Others 14 ga

Best regards
Mike
