Question about 1991 Plymouth Acclaim

95 plymouth acclaim 6cyl '' transmision not slipping but goes to N

The trans makes a buzzzz and goes to ether 2nd or N when i slow down. I shut off car and restart and it is fine for about 5 to 10 miles. Please any info would help. Money is tight and i work 30 miles from home.Oh and fluid is good.

I would try changing the filter on the transmission it could be dirty.

Tranny stuck in first gear, sometimes goes into 2nd, but not drive. reverse is good.

i know what you mean .on the trans there at the front there is a wire plug in -unplug wire clean good -clean connecter good plug back -then unhook battery -then hook back then drive reprogram computer THIS SENSOR IS CALLED DISTANCE (speed) SENSOR. it on transaxle extension housing

2003 chevy venture transmission slow to shift from 1st to 2nd and then from 2nd to 3rd.

Probably due for a trans service--which is flushing the trans and replacing the trans fluid and filter.

Have you checked the oil level? If that's good you either have a problem with the oil pump or a sensor? FYI This is something you DON'T want to drive car until it's fixed. You can ruin the engine if you are running with poor or no oil lubrication.
