Question about 2004 Ford Explorer
Wiz - I have this problem and after looking it up on the net and asking some friends - with final confirmation coming here from you - it would seem be the blend door or the actuator.
Problem is, I can't do anything with cars so I brought it back to the dealer where I got it (bought it used a year ago). Still waiting on them to get back to me.
My question is this: how much do you think they'll charge me to repair it? Or at least what's a good price and what's a bad price?
That all depends on the labor rate, all dealers here are union and they charge about $110 per hour, I would guess your job at about 8 hours and about $50 for parts.
Please rate me.
