Window fault the individual window buttons wont operate the windows, but the button to put all four windows down at the same time works fine. any ideas how to fix this problem?

    i have tried this, and it didn't work, do you have any other ideas? please, this is driving me mad!!!!!

    You need to really clean the plastic between circuit strips. The carbon tracks are really hard to see. Use a good radio/TV contact cleaner and a toothbrush. Also, check your fuse box. I don't know this to be a fact, but the all down switch may be on a separate circuit than the individual window switches.

The simplest possibility is that you have inadvertently engaged the child-proof window-lock. This happens frequently with my rental car customers, who call complaining that their windows do not work. The button is usually on the driver side arm-rest right next to the window controls. On your car, it could be someplace else. If you cannot toggle the window lock using the button, there is a possibility that the window-lock switch itself has gone bad, and needs to be replaced.

It won't work on either the drivers button or the passenger button? If so it's the motor, if it works on one of the buttons then it the button that won't put it down. Let me know please.

if you told the problem to the dealer this should of been fixed take it back to him and tell him your not satisfide with the work that as been done if he his huming and aring tell him that you are going to see a trading standerds officer.. then go from there

When you open the drivers door you can see a wiring harness between the door and the body of the car.
You more than likely have wires broken in there.
