Does anyone have a diagram of the fuse box layout, amps ratings etc? I did not get an owners manual with the car and I suspect that someone has replaced one of the fuses with a lower amps rating. This is for the interior lights and window washer. All the surrounding fuses are 30 Amps and the one that keeps blowing is 20 Amps! Also - If anyone has an electronic version of the owners manual I would be very grateful - there are just too many buttons and functions that I have no idea how to use them! Like the phone setup etc.

fuse 33 on the inside fuse box (there are two) should be the one you want.

hello, for your vehicle the fuses for the front power windows are 14 and 19. Both fuses should be 30amp fuses.

the fuses u are looking for are as follows:
From the top left first row its# 4
then the bottom row its # 19
I also wanted to point out. from 1989 to 1996 the brake switch was the common failure for bmw's
the series it included were 318i, 525-540i, and all 7 series. if the fuses dont fix it.. its the switch
located under a panel u need remove on the drivers side on the steering collum

I have 1998 BMW 328i and it shut off entire air condition system while running. sometime it works fine then suddenly it shut off while driving.
