2001 Expeditions don't have a conventional antenna. It's built into the windows. Unless its broken, you'll not need to install a new one. There is a conventional antenna coax cable with plug in the dash that will plug into your new stereo's antenna socket. That should do it.

If its broken, look for a scratch on your glass that breaks on of those conducting tracks, like rear window defrosters, and use a repair kit to fix it.

Hope this helps.

I bought a used ford taurus and i only get static on the radio no staions how can i find the problem and fix it

I would check to make sure the antanna is plugged into the back of the radio as well as make sure it runs all the way to the antanna itself. It's a start anyway. May be the radio itself but I would try the basics first. I hope this helped and good luck.

No key for 2001 ford expedition

you can't start the vehicle without taking it in and having a new key programmed to it- you can have a key made- it will unlock it and turn in the ign. but will not start without programming- your ford dealer may be able to get the key code for the vehicle but most likely you'll also have to purchase a new ign. cylinder and have 2 keys made because it takes 2 keys to program after an erase. hope this helps, good luck
