Question about 1988 Nissan Pathfinder

1 Answer

How do you change the breaklights?

I know this is a dumb question but I can't figure out how to open the tail lights to change the break light bulb. I saw that there is a panel when you open the rear hatch held in with three screws, once thats off it appears that the break light cover is held in with a plastic snap but I can't get it off no matter what I do. What am I missing?

So I don't have to remove the lenses, I access the bulb from the little grilled access panels inside the cargo space huh? I would never have thought of that. Thanks.

The bulb itself comes out by gripping the assembly and "unscrewing" the whole piece. The whole bulb will come out from the rear of the assembly from inside the vehicle. Once you see how it comes out you will see how simple it is. Replace the bulb screw the assembly back in and off you go.
