Question about Ford Escort
Have your battery, alternator , and starter checked. you can check them yourself if you have a little mechanical know how. it is either not running any current to the starter because the battery is dead and will not recharge. It may be old and you need to replace it. If the alternator is bad, it will not charge the battery. If both the battery and the alternator are GOOD, your starter is bad.
