1994 Buick Le Sabre starts first time, runs great. Won't restart until something has cooled off.

do you mean it will not turn over or it turns over but will not start..?? If it turns over it is possibly the IGN module ... expensive part.. could be the ign switch.. inside the steering column.
Have you checked to see if spark or fuel is missing? one of these has to be missing for the engine not to start if it turns over.. If it does not turn over check the starter for "heat Soak" an old GM problem.

I have a 1988 2wd pickup and the starter won't

starter wont turn or engages the flext plate, flywheel and still wont turn engine over?if this is the case you have a seized up motor, but if it doesnt even click check signal wire from ignition switch for power when you turn the key to crank.if no power your ignition switch,park/neutral safety switch(clutch switch if manual trans) or wrongly installed wired could be the problem.

Wont start has new fuel pump and starter turns over fine going down the road and it spudders like it ran out of gas it just turns over not even trying to start

my 1988 towncar used to stop running on the open road at 70 mph after 20-25 miles of driving.......after sitting on the side for a 1/2 hr it was start right back up like nothing happened. After 2 frustrating weeks and 3 different mechanics I found out through another towncar owner that the ignition coil is getting hot and is causing the engine to shut off...Lo and behold 28.00 and 20 mins solved the problem. Just invest in a good Ignition coil from NAPA or SUMMIT PARTS

1990 jaguar xj6. Car wont start. may be electrical.

not sure if any off this will help you o The starter won't crank. If nothing happens when you turn the ignition key to the "Start" position, it means that the starter motor doesn't turn over the engine. Most commonly this could be caused by a dead battery; here is How to check the battery. ... The ignition switch could be bad - it's a common problem.13 Aug 2013

1996 Saturn SL, 4 cylinder, auto trans.. Car starts and runs fine. However if you turn off the ignition when the car is hot, the car will not start again until the engine cools down. When you turn the key...

Form the saturn..........when starters age they tend to have problems when engine hot.You need to replace the starter.
As for the wagon it sounds like some sort of ignition problem if it's turning but not starting........I have seen o2 sensors cause this behavior. However to be sure you need to obtain an OBDII code reader to be positive of the issue.

No start

Check if battery is charging, could be a number of things. Alternator, Start motor or just loose wire somewhere in Engine bay!
