There are 4-8 mm bolts holding the pulley on. Usually, you can hold the pulley by hand while breaking them loose. If they are too tight or you can't hold it tight enough, leave the serpentine belt on to help hold the pulley while you begin to loosen the bolts.

SOURCE: 1996 Oldsmobile 88, where is the flasher unit so I can replace

I believe it is under the glove box door between it and the ashtray. You'll have to remove the panel under the dash (no big deal) and it is in a metal clip attached to the dash panel. Good Luck

SOURCE: how do replace the power steering pump on 1996

remove the pressure and return line, the belt, remove the mounting bolts. Use a "power steering pulley puller" to remove the puller. This tool also works as an installer.

How do I remove oil pump pulley to replace the water pump?

If you mean the power steering pump, it will have to be removed to access the bolt. It's just 2 bolts. You get them through the holes in the power steering pump. Just unbolt it and push it aside.
