i am not an expert but it sounds to me like you either have a ground problem or you have a hot wire that is grounding out some where i would start under the dash first

I replaced a battery and an alternator in a 2005 Explorer, Checked voltage after, was getting 14,4 volts, all seemed well, next morning battery was dead, jumped truck, alternator putting out 13.6 volts,...

I don't know where you checked alternator out-put? I'd check at the alternator bat terminal and across battery posts, both, the reading should be close to the same.
It's possible when you took battery cable loose to install ammeter in series, a module may have shut off? Use a jumper wire to keep connection till you get the ammeter hooked up. Just my opinion.

1984 dodge Ramcharger w/318 been running great last night .No spark have gas at carb spins over no spark, dist dry,no fuse for ingnition that i can see any help?

check distributor module, oreilly can check these for free. also maybe plugs, wires, cap, rotor.. if this isnt it maybe the pickup coil went bad which would usually be easier to buy a new distributor instead of taking apart distributor, if you have to replace distributor i would check junk yard prices on something older like that you can probably get parts for pretty cheap

No spark on a 1997 lt 350 most parts new but still no spark new opti, rotor,plugs,wires,ingnition-digial6plus(MSD),coil,module,coilwire,new grounds and still no spark open to ideas??? obd2 shows no codes

check to see if you have a part under the distibuter, this would be an ignition control module, this part does 4 things, 2 fuel based and 2 ignition based functions, this can be reomoved and tested at more auto parts stores.
