Transmission won't change into overdrive when cold

I'm wandering if this could be some type of electrical problem, The Transmission changes out real smooth through the 1st 3 gears?

Thanks, that could be, it was doing fine until the weather got cold. But still I have to drive it a very long time on a real cold day but on a warm day only a few miles. sounds like it could be some type of sensor gone bad?

Thats normal, when it warms up it will shift. If no there is a problem. It does that to warm up the engine faster.

Why does my transmission **** and have trouble when it's cold but does better when it's warmed up?

I have no clue what transmission **** means but it sounds as if you may need to check/change transmission fluid. If the fluid level is low it will possibly cause the trans. to slip when it's cold but once it warms up the fluid expands and the volume is increased. Check fluid first.

First thing to do is check the fluid level if that ok you may want to think about having the transmission filter and fluid changed, there are other possibilities but check these first

well the low cost way to go first would be to try and change the trans fluids. If the problems still remains the it may be an internal problem
