Lite poped on for gas filled it and now wont stay going
Ok the lite poped on for gas and I drove it to the nearest gas station filled it and then started driving home within 10 mins. it died. pulled over turned the key and the car started. I drove about half a mile and then my RPM's dropped to 1000 from 3500 then the car died again. Let the car sit for a minute or two, then was able to drive the car for another half mile or so, and the RPM's dropped out and the car died.
Would like to note that this happened after the car was driven to Empty, and then filled up with gas. Before the tank was filled, we have had no problems like this at all.

You should look for a gas container, go to the nearest gas station, fill it, get back to your car and por the content of your gas container in the refill point of your car. If you don't have a gas container available, maybe you can buy one at the gas station. Actually make, model and year of your car makes no difference to solve thei sad issue. Some gas stations won't sell you gas in a container. In this case you should call a towing service and take your car to the gas station.

yep i seen it in happen .i was at a gas station a guy drove car to the gas station on empty.he fill his tank up .could not get it to crank .some cars you have to restart fuel pump when run out of gas. like chrysler.you use a scanner. but chervrolet you run low over heat damage the pump.it has to stay submerge gas to keep it cool. check fuel pump pressure.it should be 41 - 47 psi.
there is a bleeder on the gas rail bleed some out on a rag and see if it was gas you filled up with or water i have run in to gas stations not fixing cracked tanks and as you know water floats on gas.start rag on fire gas is good if it doesnt light than you need to hurt someone heehe. ok now if your gas is good then the next step is to turn your ignition key on but not try to start and listen to see if you can here the fuel pump kicken in if not there is your problem is so then you need to replace your fuel line filter. good luck.
