Question about 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee
Hi I have a 1999 Grand Cherokee Limited 4.7 and my heat went out completely. At first it was jus the passenger side but now it doesnt heat at all. A/C works fine but really dont need it right now. Trouble codes on climate control read 20,46,52, and 56. Is there way to bypass some sort of circuit or would it have to be replaced? Please help im FREEEEEZZZZIINNGGGG!!!
Go to engine compartment, locate heater control valve. It will have the heater hoses connected to it that pass into the firewall. Unhook actuation plunger on the control valve. This will allow the coolant to flow though the heater core at all times. Now you have heat. If you get too hot, you can control it by the hot/cold settings to adjust the heater door.
