Question about 2005 Chevrolet Cobalt
I have removed the two screws at the top of the assembly and the whole housing is loose but will not come out to allow me to change the driver side headlight. What am missing? how do I get at the light to change it?
You need to remove the two plastic pins in order to pull back the upper front grille. Best bet is to get a flathead screwdirver under those pin heads to pop them up, then rotate the pins around to pull them out. You should be able at this point to pull up the grille, and that should give you the clearance to wiggle out the headlamp. It's tricky, but worth it!
