Question about 2002 Hyundai Santa Fe
My 4WD is a 2006 Hyundai Terracan. At 56000km while the clutch was depressed a burning smell came out from the bonnet. We noticed grey smoke and it smelt like burning brake fluid. The clutch was welded to the floor but the vehicle moved forward once i removed my foot from the brake. As they could not find driver or mechanical fault we paid close to $2000 to replace the cluth plate etc. Now 10000 km later the same has happened again. They are still telling me they can't find a fault.
Hi there! i was a master tech 4 hyundai. sorry to say this was and is a common problem as it has a dual mass flywheel. take it to your dealer and they will replace the the flywheel and clutch, this depending on milage ect could be covered under warranty, or to a minamum charge to yourself.
any problems please feel free 2 contact myself.
