Question about 1989 Chevrolet Caprice
When the temp falls below 32 my car wont start. If I can start it, it will start fine the rest of the day. I have changed every part that I can think of. Looking for what would cause this problem.....
I had this same issue. Mine was the coolant temperature sensor. I changed it out for $18 and I have no problems with it.
When the weather hit 30 or lower my vehicle wouldn't start, once I got it started it ran fine all day long!
Mine was easy to get to, not sure on yours, mine was on drivers side of motor. Just make sure you have pan under your vehicle, it will lead antifreeze.
