This sounds like Brake Light Switch, can be found at any local parts store, for under $15 and easy enough to replace. The switch is located under the brake pedal and depresses when you hit the brakes, causing the brake lights to turn on. Replacing this is cheap and easy.

The right brake light sensor is located in the trunk area by the right rear taillight assembly.

Check the prones inside the connector that you plug into the brake light module. You may have to squeeze, wiggle, tilt each one to see which one is not connecting all that good. I know it may sound confusing. I tried to explain the best of I could.

It should be your brake light switch. There is a little plate welded to the arm of the pedal that has a hole with a rubber stopper. The rubber stopper is most likely missing, or damaged. You should be able to take a flashlight and see the plate and the switch. If the hole is plugged up, you will need the brake light switch, if not, replace the plug.

I have a 1993 honda accord i just recently lost my brake lights i put in a new brake light switch and all of my brake lights started working except my right brake lights? please help

If you don't have power to the right brake light when the switch is engaged, I would check the turn signal switch. On some models the brake circuit goes thru the turn signal switch. Also be sure and check the ground connection on the bulb socket.

1993 Honda Accord brake lights don't work. Where is the grounding wire and what does it look like?

Why don't you start with the brake light switch located on the rear of the brake pedal. It might need a simple adjustment or replacement.. Then make sure both bulbs are good and you didn't blow any fuses. If all of this checks out get back to me and I'll give you the additional diagnosis steps.

My dash lights went out and at the same time my running day lights in the back and front went out as well. But all my brake lgihts still work..And i already checkd all my fuses and the in line fuse and...

The fuse that works the tail run lights also powers up the fuse going to the dash lights. That fuse is hot all the time and it goes to the headlight switch the switch can be bad but so can the connection to the switch and the connector to the steering collum. Test light should find two wires hot with the key off and another comes on with the key (turn signals) with the switch on two more wires will go hot (high or low beam and the tail lights) if they don't add power with a jumper wire and see what comes on there are no wires that will hurt any thing by adding power to the switch wires but one of them should turn on the tails and dash oncew you find this wire the switch should turn this wire on too if it doesnt and theres two wires hot with the key off and the switch off then the switch is bad install a new one and it'll work good

99 ACCORD BRAKE LIGHTS

ok well you start with the most common, obvious, and easiest to repair.
1. fuse
2. bulbs
3. bad relay
4. bad switch
5. open circuit
6. short
This is the best order to diagnose your problem with. not sure how electricly savy you are but my first test would be to check for voltage at the bulb. Get yourself a voltmeter, a test light might work but a volt meter can give you the exact reading. unplug the harness from the bulb or vise versa, have someone hold the brake down, stick your diodes into the terminals of the harness and get your reading. if no voltage pull some fuses... still nothin, my moneys on the wires...

Brake Lamp remains on

This light is controlled by the hand brake, brake fluid level and on some models the brake pad wear indicators.
Low brake pads or a broken sensor wire is a common reason for this problem.
