Morning, my girlfreinds hyundai accent mvi '97' has a miss fire problem only under load an at low rev's. now it's geting colder it's getting pretty dangerous to be fair when you try to pull out at a round about you have to rev the **** out of it an ride the clutch like a ***** to make it move. i think it's electrical is there a common fault with this model any tip's or info would be very much appreciated thanks. chris miller

If the noise happens when car is in park and you rev it to about 1500rpm's then its thebearing in the oil pump of the torque converter.It should make noise all the time even in park ideling. You may need a rebuild transmission. Have the vehicle checked out at a transmission repair shop

You should consider changing the cap and rotor, and plug wires. This will help get the proper spark to your spark plugs.

Depending on exactly where on the engine it's coming from,it could be just the fuel injectors.They become noisy because of certain gasoline(low grade independent refinery company).I had a 1995 accent that had been fueled with SHELL gas.One day when I had revved it to 6000rpm in all 4 shifts.It was tapping like hell and I thought I blew a lifter (tappet).But it went away the next day. the car tough out till 2008 with 260,000km.Rusted out because of Canadian winters.

alternator not pushing out little power to run air con on idle.Get it checked out.

check ignition module in the distributor
