Ignition module or pick up coil. Rebuilt distrubutor may be best option.

I have a 90 GMC Sierra, 5.7 ltr, 2 wheel drive, 1/2 ton. I recently replaced the ESC module ,MAP sensor, and TPS, because they coded out... I also replaced the distibutor as well. I was running well this...

Try spraying a couple shots of carb spray down the throttle body while a helper cranks it over. If it starts and runs for a couple of seconds check fuel pressure and the resistance of the injectors.

91 3/4 ton 4x4,454.idle falls off&dies when stopping or when shifted from fwd to rev. no codes tried iac motor but no change.

You may have a body throttle position senson. You need a scanner to confirm that. You may have a vacuum leak somewhere around the throttle body. You may have a fuel pump getting weak so I would check fuel pressure. You may have an EGR valve that is partially stuck open.

The inline will not work,it can not get fuel threw the fuel pump in the tank, the fuel tank has to be removed, and the fuel pump changed out.
