I had a similar issue and found that the two rear drain holes for the sun roof came off and any water was running down into the trunk and also the rear floor was always wet. I pulled the rear of the roof panel down to expose the rubber tubes, re-seated them with glue so they would not come off again.

Hi alnorm,
If your Buick is like my Buick, check the rear wheel wells for rust holes near the top of the arch. You can do this from under the car, or by moving the wheel arch covering in the trunk and also lifting the carpet in the trunk..which is probably also wet as a result of water spray off the tires coming in through the holes. It (water) then runs down the inside of the wheel wells...under the seat. My car was so wet, you could not sit on the seat without getting a wet ****! The hole was only the size of a quarter. If you find holes, jack the car, put it on stands, pull the wheels, grind off the undercoating, and Bondo the holes with a mesh embedded it it to bridge the holes. Good luck. Hope this works for you. Maybe the rubber seals around doors and window should be checked . is the boot/trunk wet if so the rubbers could be busted also check the floor of the trunk there is a drain plug thet gets blocked if so clean if out or remove. i had a problem like thet and only seen it when i had to change a tyre there was a couple of gallons of water in the well for my spare. i just removed the rubber bung.joe

Wet driver side floor

I used to get water in my trunk when it rained hard. I re-caulked the rear window and it stopped. A water leak has a capillary effect meaning it will follow ridge lines and can appear in unlikely areas after it flows downward. I sometimes get water on my driver side door when I wash the car and spray sideways to rinse. I would check all your rubber seals around the windshields and doors.

Buick passenger side front and rear carpets soaking wet

The two most common causes are rain water leaking in or the ac drain being clogged up. I would vote for rain water if the entire carpet area is wet.
Could be coming in around the windshield, or one of the door gaskets.

Have a 94 Buick century. Replaced thermostate. Running hot. Looks as tho is leaking underneath front near pump. And also in passenger floor board can't see the leak from inside. It's just alwa

Whenever I see a system which is leaking from more than one or two places, I do a head gasket check because that tells me that the system is experiencing above normal pressures. the wet floor is a heater core. whether it's a water pump or some other thing near it only you can tell. Actually it rarely happens, but the wet floor could be the hose where it meets the heater core at the firewall; again, only you will be able to tell the difference. if the hose connection looks dry, assume that it is the core itself.

Could be a quarter panel seal. I've seen a few where the leak is VERY hard to find.

Rear floorboard behind driver set wet after rain

do you have a sun roof, if so start there, because there are two hoses at the back corners of the roof pan that allow water to drain, if they leak, they will soak the rear floorboards, and if not that check the door jam seals.(note that if the plugs on the floor are missing that will be verry hard not to have wet carpet)........let me know?

Wet rear floor

Have you by any chance jacked up the passenger side, or got vehicle on a hoist to make sure there isn't any plugs on the underside that may have fell out? They could be round or oval metal or rubber plugs, probably in that area.
