Question about 1994 Mazda MX-6
My rev counter has stopped working along with some other lights on the dash, the fuel pump ecu & distributor have been changed would be so glad to rack your brains
Well, you may have to rack your back -
Crawl under the dashboard and locate connectors that seem close to the instrument panel; unplug and plug them several times to break through any oxidation that might have formed on mating contacts.
There may be several that pass through the firewall and probably involve the ECU replacement.
I think that during other work some connector has been disturbed since I don't think the instrument cluster has its own fuse, it's probably bundled with other items as 'accessories.'
