I'M HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM IN MY 2005 230 KOMPRESSOR, TODAY ALSO TURN THE ABS LIGHT AND AFTER THAT THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT..............NEED SOME HELP??? COULD BE ONLY THE BATTERY???

I too have had the sam e issues occur on my e320, what I have noticed is that it is usually getting dark out or I may be in a low light area which triggers my headlights to turn on. I only noticed this because I never used to use the auto on function but then decided too it was shortly there after I started getting the RED screen on the dash. Stopped using the auto on function and have not had a problem again. Not a true fix but again each time I take my car in to the dealer I get a minumum 500.00 bill and told that they could not find any problems. I think the issue my stem from the computer detecting a large frain in the chargingsystem and mistakes it for a failure of sorts.

SOURCE: 2004 E270 CDI Battery light visit workshop

I had the same problem in me 2004 cdi e270. Check the voltage going to the battery when the car engine is on. Stedy charge of 12v should be going in to the battery, if the voltage is volitale say between 11v to 14v then it your Regulator (which is attached to the backend of the alternator). You need to change alternator and then unplug all the batteries over night and re plug them back again. The problem should go away.

My car's engine is working but the battery is not charging however the battery sign is on display all the time. Type of car:Honda Civic Hybrid 1.6 car registation:AD53DOU Pleas can you help me

firstly check for the alternator fuse.
then check for the current either coming from the alternator or not.
also tighten the battery terminals and check for the water level in it....
if all the things are correct then visit the workshop..for further check..

My c200 kompressor has a problem with the ESP,how can i fix it?

In your car Electronic Stability Program system included many different sensors (yaw-rate sensor, steering angel sensor, body acceleration sensor, some more) if ESP visit Workshop message appear on your instrument display It's very hard to say witch sensor could be the fault without right diagnose most common faults are either steering angel sensor or yaw-rate sensor might be some other sensors if you replace yaw-rate sensor it's need to be calibrate by diagnose computer, if replace steering angle sensor it's need to do right way otherwise when you tern steering wheel fully left or right it will brake at first time then you have to be replace another one so like to advise you to get right diagnose and repair buy Mercedes specialist if do some thing wrong it's be more cost to you if you get right place to do it only you have to pay once.

2001 c240 battery/alternator - visit workshop light

This is normally a low voltage from the alternator condition. Hook a voltmeter to the battery and note the reading. Should be 11.6vdc to 12.2vdc. Start the car, after a minute or so it should be around 13 to 14 vdc., if not then the alternator may be bad

Turn on ignition and the dials go crazy tells me my steering is locked lights come on wipers to turn ignition of and dials keep moving back and forth overnight the battery goes flat any ideas thanks

WOW -sounds like its haunted !!
Seriously though - it would seem you have a short circuit or possibly a fused relay or solid state switch/relay. You can try to have the fault codes read to indicate a problem, or, try removing relays and fuses step by step to see if you can isolate the area or services causing the problem - its a long drawn out method but may pay dividends - your time is cheaper than a workshops !
hope this helps - good luck.
