I just bought a 2002 escalade when i get on the freway with speed the whole consol shakes also the stearing wheel shakes and every lil bump you can feel it its the most unconfortable drive ever . i owned...

To check the shocks bounce the truck 3 times and let it go. It should rise past level and come back to level and stop. If it doesn't then the shock on that wheel is bad. Don't be shy when you bounce it, I use my knee on the bumper and drive it down. Do each wheel.
When you have that done, jack up 1 front wheel. Spin it and watch the tread near the ground. It should spin freely with no wobble. If it wobbles sideways at one spot you likely have a broken belt in the tire. Check both front ones for sure. After that grab the wheel top and bottom and move it in and out. There should be no movement. If there is you have a bad ball joint or possibly a wheel bearing. You'll need someone to watch to see what moves to tell the difference. Then grab the wheel at 3 o'clock and 9 o'clock and try to move it in and out. Again there should be no movement, unless the steering wheel turns. If the wheel moves and not the steering wheel, you have bad tie rod ends that need replacing. Then do the other front wheel.
It's also possible that you need a front end alignment. If you have to replace ball joints or tie rod ends, then get it aligned after you repair it.
Hope this helps.

I have a 2003 cadillac escalade ext and the check brake system light came on. The ABS and traction light are also on. What could be the problem?

The most likely problem is a wheel motion sensor. If your check brake light is on, you have a problem that needs immediate attention. Refer to your owners manual to see if your Escalade is still safe to drive.

Activate 4 wheel drive

Hi, you have all wheel drive in an Escalade, and is always active. You cannot disable it, as it has a viscous clutch in the transfer case, and always applies power to the front, and rear wheels. Thanks...Coop

Brake failure at pedal noise in front wheels traction stalbility light comes on when you take off even when road dry .When you touch brake pedal it acts like a hydraulic brake and kicks back at you

you have a bad wheel speed sensor signal.probably front gm recamends that you replace wheel bearings in a set weather its front or rear for this type of problem a scan tool with the ability to see each wheels data is needed.

2003 differential whine/noise

The last time I had a hum coming out of the area of the differential it was an inside axle bearing going bad. In my case there were four bearings (one on each end of each axle). It was a Toyota. We changed one bearing after listening very carefully and guessed right. I don't know if Cadillac is built similar in this regard but I'm thinking it may be. It was a speed sensitive hum sound like you describe.
