Question about 2003 Honda Accord
I had the front discs machined under warranty during the first year of ownership. By the time I had 59000 kilometers on it all the brakes (front and back) had to be replaced - new discs etc.. The dealership refused to cover any of the cost. My 7 year warranty did not help.
Is this a common problem with this vehicle? I was told the problem was due to "overaggressive" brake pads. The replacement parts are of a different composition.
Does this fix make sense? Are there any other suggestions (I am not an aggresive driver).
The rotor issue is a common thing on this car we believe the rotors for the frt are to small for the vehicle as far as the pads if you are braking harder it will wear out the pads from the rotors being to small

Those models had very soft pads because customers were whining about brake squeaks. Honda's answer was to put on soft pads that wear out quickly. DUH!
If you can find some by VGX- they work great and are quiet also.
