Honda Accord 2003 V6 Premature brake replacement

I had the front discs machined under warranty during the first year of ownership. By the time I had 59000 kilometers on it all the brakes (front and back) had to be replaced - new discs etc.. The dealership refused to cover any of the cost. My 7 year warranty did not help.
Is this a common problem with this vehicle? I was told the problem was due to "overaggressive" brake pads. The replacement parts are of a different composition.
Does this fix make sense? Are there any other suggestions (I am not an aggresive driver).

The rotor issue is a common thing on this car we believe the rotors for the frt are to small for the vehicle as far as the pads if you are braking harder it will wear out the pads from the rotors being to small

Those models had very soft pads because customers were whining about brake squeaks. Honda's answer was to put on soft pads that wear out quickly. DUH!
If you can find some by VGX- they work great and are quiet also.
Good luck!

Check engine appears on my dash board....diagnosed as p1656 which is transaxle (acura) dont know what that is

it means transmission. with your luck its probably an automatic 3.0 v6 or 3.2 Acura Tl cl or Honda accord....
they suffer from premature wear and internal solenoids go bad. transmission rebuild is necessary. check with dealers first if its under warranty.

1999 honda accord ex v6

The back brakes on my Honda Accord are disc brakes. After removing the brake cylinder assembly you will see the brake cylinder piston end has a slot in it. The short pin on the back side of the inner brake pad fits into this slot, but also it is used to 'Turn' (clock-wise) the piston back into the cylinder so you fit the assembly back over the new 'thicker' pads. You can not 'press' this piston back into the cylinder.
