Question about 1994 Chrysler LHS

Car won't start....

Recently I started having strange happenings with my car. At first the A/C went out, then the blower motor would come on and stay on making it impossible to use digital thermostat. I actually had to remove the fuse to turn blower motor off. Next the radio functions fine, but no sound and the cigarette stopped working at the same time. A week later the car would crank but wouldn't start. Mechanic said no spark tospark plugs. He says he has checked everything and thinks it is the computer. That doesn't sound right to me, any ideas??

To be honest, I am not sure. I assumed there was only one computer the way he stated it to me...

You need to have the systems of the car tested for trouble codes to help pin point the source of the trouble, I would only be guessing at this point and that could cost you allot of money, the best place to do this is the new car dealers shop, they have the right test gear to find the problem quickly and at a minimum of cost.

2 Answers home, turn on heater blower and lights went out and engine died, won't start but turns over. Nothing else works.

Sounds like you cooked a fuseable link. Thats a wire with a fuse material inside that goes from the starter to the fuse box.
Could also be a problem with the key switch, but the headlight switch gets power directly from the battery.

I have a 2004 Impala. when I turned off the ignition myheater blower stayed on what can i do tofix it cheap?

More than likely the resistor for the heater motor is causing the problem
it is located behind the heater motor under the dash on the passengers side. If the heater motor is making noises it may be drawing to much and caused the resistor problem.

Saab blower motor problems, works when it wants to

Sometimes the fuse in your fuse box will pop out and not get a good connection, happens to my vehicle sometimes,I pull the fuse out and reinstall. If that's not the problem,if could be your blower motor resister,it's located next to blower motor with electrical connector and a couple of screws holding it on,can't tell by looking to see if its bad.

On my 2005 GMC Yukon the blower motor is acting really strange. Sometimes it will stay on even with the engine off and the key out of ignition. Also when it is on it is only running at one speed very...

Yes the problem is the blower motor resistor. It is located by the blower motor on the passengers side under the dash.G.M.has a bulletin out for this problem.Make sure and check the connector out really close and see if it has gotten hot.Sometimes they get hot and start to melt. You can tell if it is hard to separate the connectors. You can get these parts at the dealership.Hope this helps.Good luck.

My blower motor stays on after key is off and door is open

hi for the blower motor staying on replace the resistor
check the connector make sure it is not corroded or melted
should have nothing to do with the remote start
this is an after market remote start
then the module could be feeding the blower motor
i have seen the after market modules do some strange things
hope this helps

No heat in front but back heat is working

could be a blower motor resistor or a faulty blower motor. if no air is coming out of the vents when you turn the switch to on there is a fault in the electrical system somewhere. the rear blower system is pretty much totally separate from the front so therefor rear hvac is working properly. test blower motor resistor and blower motor current and see if its putting out any power also make sure the wires going to the blower motor are hot also.

Heating broke

Was the blower making strange noises before it quit? If not, does the blower work at all? perhaps only on one speed? If it only works on one speed, look for the resistor that goes with the blower motor. I assume it will be near the blower itself, but can't tell you where. An auto parts store can probably tell you. If the blower was noisy and suddenly quit, you will likely need to replace the blower motor.
