Ford 1988 2.9 truck shakes until at high rpms in gears 123

Has 150 000 miles it started doing the shake thing as i started in first but recently has gotten worse and has spread to gear 2 3 it stops when i get about forty

Sounds like your H/T leads are tracking or breaking down may need to check ignition system and also check for any vacuum leaks.Could be a few things so have you done any checks or tests that would narrow it down a little?

have your spark plugs, coil pack boots checked for moisture,on many ford water will accumulate around plugs,expeually if it has rained recently.
