1986 thunderbird turbo charged coup

I know not a damn thing about cars.. but im real sure the problem is the throttle cable. by the carborater there is no trottle spring, and i think theres supose to be one. lol... but the throttle cable is a little slack and like i said the spring is missing. can i just tighten the cable, or do i have to have some one replace it, or do i just need a new spring? how do i replace or install any of these things?

The spring on the carb is kind of important, it lets the pedal come back up so you can press the gas again. I would say you should get someone to put a spring on the carb seeing as thought its an important part

87 thunderbird turbo coupe misfire from idle until 3g then hitting boost n runs smooth

check that the turbo is actually working at the lower rpms.check to see if it is a variable vane turbo where the vanes for the turbine wheel can be altered to produce boost at lower rpms. The vanes are controlled by a actuator on the turbo and is controlled by a vacuum hose controlled by the ECM. The misfiring may be actually over fuelling ( mixture too rich as the boost is too low for the mixture)

Have 1986 thunderbird 2.3 turbo car runs but when you get on gas cuts out ease up runs fine car has sit for about 5 yrs

this sounds like a fuel flow or supply problem.you may also have a sensor problem that controls the turbo operation under different throttle and load positions for proper operations.i`ve seen turbos impellers seize or not turn freely.these are different areas to check into, note parts for these turbos and supercharged t-birds are hard to find when it comes to components as they only made them for about 3 years.

1986 Ford Thunderbird. Turn signal does not

Have you checked the contacts to make sure they are touching the bulb base. I have a 1995 Ford Contour that did the same thing. I took a screwdriver and bent the contacts out very slightly and it has worked fine ever since.
