HI....
The heater on your Vehicle it can be a few problems.
I will mention the Importants.

First. Check the temperature, The temperature has to be At least 140 Farenheit.
Second. With a Temperature gace check the temperature of the 2 small hoses going to the Heater core. If the Temperature is almost the same on each of the small hoses, and Close to the temperature of the engine. The circulation is good.
But if only One of the hoses are Hot and the Other no. Is because is there a restriction in the Heater core, and will be nesesary to clean or replace.

Third.. Check the Blend door actuator motor. ( Is the actuator to move from cool to hot air )
Is located at center of the Instrument panel. at lower of the Hvac housing.
Is there behind the Center console.

Ok... Check the step I giving and letme know.
Thank you for use fixya...

Rear heat not working in 1999 ford expedition. the blend door is operating, is it a good idea to back flush rear heater core ? only one hose getting hot!

It won't hurt to backflush it, but be sure to isolate it from the rest of the system to prevent flushing the blockage somewhere else upstream. Don't be supprised if it won't flush out and you have to replace the core.

2000 expedition with auto climate control no heat in front or back heater

check to be sure you don't have air trapped in the system. If engine temp is normal, then heater water valve may not be working (if it has one) or temp control on heater control head is not working for blend door.
If trapped air, have a shop with evac/fill equipment, flush & fill system to purge air.

Have some heat in 2000 ford expidition but not

have your heater core pressure checked. it maybe clooged even though you had system flushed. additionally did you buy the correct thermostat? the computer is a sensitive thing and alot of other components are activated because of the temperature. the opening temp is 188-195 degrees. so you should have bought the 185 degree thermostat. i had same problem and bought the higher temp thermostat. i couldn't believe that such a small change would make a big difference. good luck.
