Question about 2002 Land Rover Freelander
I have a freelander which the rev counter keeps falling below 1000rpm when the vehicle is warm and almost stalling.
If this is a 1.8 petrol model then the idling adjuster/throttle stop screw needs to be adjusted.Slight adjustment can be done without a diagnostic tool ,loosen the lock nut holding the throttle screw found near the throttle cable, adjust this in clockwise to increase revs.
