Dead battery I have 1 1997 XJ6-L and it came with know manuals. Where is the battery located and how do you get to it - Thanks - Skip

The battery is in the trunk under the right floor panel. let me know if you have any other problems I jhave the same car.

1995 jaguar xj6 was recently in an accident. the steering and suspension was fixed on the front right side of the car. everything turns on indicating that the battery power is functioning but when it tried...


you may just have a battery with dead or dying cells...make sure your have your battery load tested making sure you have enough amps to crank the car...just because it powers up the cluster doesnt mean it has enough juice to crank the engine..

Help my xj6 1995 wont start, no lights, everything is dead but it worked perfectly ok yesterday, and I cannot open the boot to check the battery


Sounds like a total battery drain - something left on that you do not know of? Open the boot using manual over-ride (ignition key or cabin pull cord)

I am trying to locate the alternator and voltage regulator in my 1985 jaguar xj6 there was an electrical problem and some on the wires melted down in the dash board we replacedd the wires and got a new...


FOLLOW ALTERNATOR WIRES AND BATTERY POSITIVE FEED WIRE.IT WILL TAKE YOU TO THE VOLTAGE REGULATOR BOX.CHECK ALTERNATOR FUSE.IF YOU HAD WIRES TO BURN AND MELT.MORE LIKELY YOU HAVE A BLOWED FUSE.

when you battery goes dead, the security system locks the car. When you charge the bathery, use the key to lock the door and hold until the alarm activates. open your door and you can now start your car...dmakia@gmail.com
