Re: Car not starting
I think his solution is incorrect, you have a circuit board failure, I don't suggest you even attempt to repair this yourself, the screws and parts are very small and if you don't remove thing correctly they are junk, I don't know how much the3 camera cost but in most cases the cost of repair exceeds the price of replacement.

P0301 is a misfire on cylinder # 1 witch I think you know already .
Not sure what no pals means .
If no pulse then its a bad injector ,
However to get at #1 injector to replace or repair you might as well do them all and the pressure regulator as well .
Try testing # 1 for correct voltages + - at the correct stages you will have to reserch for your spific build codes and engine .
I love Mazda they are brilliant engineers build really good stuff
when the gauges are telling you that a problem exists like over heating. Cold air may mean an air lock in the cooling system. So I consider it to be foolish to risk a motor without checking the temp gauge for correct operation for starters . After running for 10 minutes feel the top radiator hose and if it is not hot to the touch but the gauge shows hot then you have a cooling system problem that would be checked by a radiator shop.. It may just need pressure bleeding to get the air out of the system
Hi Betty, Please explain what you mean by locked? Is the engine running? Have you started the car? Does it go into drive? Your explanation is very vague. Please give a many details as possible. Regards John
The symbols should be explained in your owners manual. The symbol could mean that the key you are using is not recognized by the controller as being the correct key. I think this would not allow the vehicle to start at all. Are you using a key that is a copy obtained from anywhere besides a Jeep dealer? The keys have a chip in them that must be programmed by the dealer. If you are using the correct key, I would have the SKIM module checked.
Is the car overheating?
Look for signs of coolant leakage under the front of the vehicle. You must be very careful when dealing with the cooling system. It is hot liquid under great pressure....not something to take lightly. If you don't feel comfortable doing it yourself, take it to an autoparts store, explain your concerns, and let them look it over. Most stores will do this as a courtesy. Hope this helped and best wishes.
