How to replace drivers side window on 95 chevy truck

Remove interior door trim. There will be screws as well as plastic pins that have to be pried out. Wind the window all the way down. There will be some tracks in the lift mechanism with rollers that are attached to the window frame. Locate and remove the bolts that secure the frame. The window should then come out.

Need to replace radio antenna on a 99 isuzu rodeo

I just replaced the antenna on our 02 rodeo. No need to remove radio or anything in dash. This is how I did it.
First you will need access to back of fender, enough room for your hand. Open hood and remove 3 bolts running along top of fender, open passenger door and remove top bolt holding fender. Gently pry top of fender away from vehicle. Place object in gap to hold fender ( I used the head of a rubber mallet). Reach inside fender and disconnect old antenna, follow cable through wall into passenger compartment. Gently pull cable from behind carpet and unplug old antenna from coupler. Connect new antenna to fender ( replacement antenna I ordered was slightly smaller than opening so I had to add washer). Run new antenna cable through wall and plug into coupler. Re-attach fender

Drivers side visor snapped and radio stopped working ????

The antenna is a wire mounted inside the visor. If you don't want to put in a new visor, you can remove the wire and attach it to your headliner or at the top of your windshield.

Where is the back-up light switch located? I have no back-no lights.

prev.gif next.gif Back-up Light Switch REMOVAL & INSTALLATION Cabriolet On the Cabriolet, the back-up light switch is mounted in one of three positions: screwed into the front face of the transaxle beside the oil filler plug, screwed into the top of the transaxle case to the left of the shift linkage, or mounted as a microswitch on top of the transaxle with a lever that is activated by the external shift linkage. Fox The Fox back-up light switch is screwed into the rear of the transaxle housing. Simply unscrew it from the housing to remove or replace. 1990 — 92 Golf and Jetta The back-up light switch includes the fifth gear switch used by the up-shift light. It is mounted to the selector shaft housing on top of the transaxle, secured with 2 bolts and sealed with an O-ring.
  1. Make sure the transaxle is in neutral.
  2. Disconnect the wiring and remove the bolts to remove the switch. Be careful not to loose the O-ring or bolt bushings.
  3. Fit the bushings and O-ring onto the switch and install it onto the transaxle. Tighten the bolts to 7 ft. lbs. (10 Nm) and connect the wiring.

Snapped fixed mast antenna

All you should have to do is unscrew it from the base mount on your car. the antenna itself is all that you should have to replace, not the wire.
