sounds like one of light bulbs was malfunctioning and caused the flasher unit to blink rapidly and iy burned out. Replace front and rear turn lite bulbs and see if flasher flashes. if not check fuse and replace fuse. If fuse okay replace flasher unit. Good luck
Find your turn signal flasher under the dash, you should be able to hear it click with the turn signal on. The flasher plugs in and is easily replaced. If you go to a parts store first you can see what yours looks like.
What that rapid turn signal on the dash means is, the rear turn signal tail light is burnt out. This is how you know the bulb is bad. Replace the burnt out tail light bulb and you will be back to normal.
Check to see if the grounding wire is still attached. The rapid blinking on the dash is an indicator of a bulb not functioning. You can have the power to the bulb and the bulb be ok, but if you don't have the circuit completed with a properly grounded wire from the bulb, you won't get a light... that sounds like what's happening. Look in the area where the wires connect and check for a loose connection. It's usually attached to a screw in the local area of the socket...
Usually when the turnsignal blinks rapid this is a indicator that the turn signal bulbs is blown, you will need to check both the front and rear signal to see which is not working, and then change the blown bulb or bulbs.
It's the bulb. There are two filliments in the bulb. One is for when you turn your lights on and the other is for breaking and blinker flashing. When the break filliment goes bad it causes the blinker to flash very rapidly. 100% the bulb. Change it and all will be good again. P.S. if it were a fuse none of the break lights or blinkers would work.
When 1 is inop and the other rapidly blinks that generally means a bad ground to the front light if you can't find it just attach another ground wire to the bulb socket and see if the light blinks normal.
