My car turns off and loses complete power while driving

I have a 1999 Honda accord and it turns off completely while I'm driving. All power is lost. When I put it in neutral and turn ignition switch on, it will start. But sometimes I have to make a fews attempts.

I doubt there is a recall for that problem. but a couple of good guesses would be ignition switch or maybe distributor. is the ck engine lite on?

When i put the key into the ignition and turn it i get electrical power but the car will not turn over and start on a 1995 honda accord

If the engine will not crank, the problem could be the key switch, neutral safety switch, a bad connection in the main cables, or the starter.

1990 Honda accord exr only clicks when I turn the ignition. Replaced battery, still the same.

Try checking the shift position switch( neutral safety switch). this prevents the car from starting while the transmission is in drive or reverse. Try starting your accord while moving the shift selector around. Also, try looking at your starter. sometimes the wires corrode, and fall off, which would make it click and not start. also, check all of your fuses,
!!GOOD LUCK!!

My car sometimes turnes off suddenly during

I had the same problem on my 1999 Honda Accord 4 cyl. It was the ignition switch. I received a letter from Honda regarding a recall on the ignition switch and had it replaced. 3 years after replacement it would turn off again & this time I purchased part from eBaby & replaced it myself. It hasn’t stalled since.
