Question about 1990 Buick LeSabre
Brought to shop they said bad timing chain and crank pos. sensor. repl. to the tune of over 400$ still same problem went back said codes show bad mass air flow and egr. I replaced both. still intermitting. Back on computer they said erratic spark, I repl. plugs & wires and did have bad wire. car ran great for weeks now again same problem, changed fuel filter, fuel pressure is good although I did not put a gauge on it. should I replace coil pack and module?
If you have #1228253 ECM replace it. They will cause a lot of problems like this. Get a delco 16198264 ecm .

Remove the battery cables and let sit for about an hour. This resets the computers/sensors. Reinstall the battery cables and the car should run choppy for about 15K(take it for a drive) then it smooths out. This is what we tried, but never experienced the choppy ride later. Try it it should work.
