Question about 1998 Chevrolet Astro
When I backed out and put it drive my steering wheel got really hard to turn and when I step on the brake to stop it had a 3 to 5 second delay before stopping and now the steering won't turn at all?
On the astro vans they used a hydroboost power brake booster which is driven off the power sterring pump. If you are having brake and steering problems you should check to make sure your belt is still on if it is you probably need a new powersteering pump. You may also check your power sterring pump pulley.if this helps please rate
