Yes therse a brake light switch activated by the movement of the brake pedal Follow the brake pedal arm up under dash and you will see a small switch.Move pedal in and out to see if the switch is being activated and no wires have fallen off.Yes all three could be burnt out but inlikely,This fault is usualy associated with corroded or poor chassis earth at the bulb holders and if the circuit board type they too will need to be checked Usualy checked with test light/probe to determine if the power is flowing with no resistance and wether the chassis earth is intact and working.Good luck

I have a 1999 Subaru Legacy Outback wagon 5-speed manual. The issue I have is, today the ABS light came on. I restarted the car and it did not come back on, I thought nothing of it. Then tonight after it...

First suggestion is to take out the 20 amp fuse before you have a massive wiring problem from a burnt harness. IT has a 10 amp fuse to protect the wiring and anything over will set the car alight if there is a dead short.. Next run the fault codes to find out why the ABS light came on. Have a check done on the alternator and check the alternator drive belt and tension. I suspect that the alternator has insufficient out put to handle all the electrics and that means either the alternator or a failing battery.

!997 Ford Thuderbird brake lights and hazards do not work

Lets start at the beginning.
The turn signals and brake lights use different fuses but both go thru the turn signal switch and use the same bulbs.
Have you checked the fuses for each circuit and does each switch have power in and out ?

2005 Spectra failed OBDII test. Was told it might be a fuse. Which fuse is it?

if you failed for readiness tests not complete i would check cig lighter fuse. but check ALL fuses because some fuses feed other fuses. i had an example of that today, dodge dakota ABS light on. didnt bother doing any research just do as i always do and checked all fuses. found a burnt fuse wich was for the interior light. stuck in a new one and my antilock brake problem was solved.
also if you recently disconnected the battery or it went dead on you then the readiness tests have to be run again wich can take a few days.
