This is a hydraulic clutch, it is self adjusting, it sounds like you need to replace the clutch because it has adjusted out as far as it can. I think you are saying it slips when you try to accelerate, that most definitely means the clutch is worn out.

85 toyota pickup clutch wont engage

The gear box should be okay. Check the clutch-watch if the clutch fork on the bell housing moves when someone presses the clutch. If it doesn't move, the cable needs adjusting, or if hydraulic clutch diagnose the clutch master and slave cylinders. Either one should cause the clutch fork to move and engage the clutch.

The clutch will not engage properly on my 1988 toyota pickup. Already replace clutch master cyclinder and clutch slave?

There are a couple of possibilities; worn clutch plate, failed pressure plate, possible hanging up of the throw-out bearing. Also, some hydraulic clutches have a throw adjustment on the slave cylinder that may need adjustment after replacing the slave cylinder.
If you plan on more DIY maintenance, I would highly recommend buying a Haynes service manual, you'll find the $25 well-spent:

The gears are incredibly sloppy in my toyota celica 90' , some friends have suggested that it is just an adjustment with the clutch, as the clutch is on the floor, where is the adjustment? Imogen

make sure you don't have a leak in the clutch master or slave cylinder on the transmission as that would cause the pedal to go all the way to the floor. Check your clutch fluid level, then go back inside the car and look behind the clutch pedal like up towards the top of the clutch rod right by the firewall. You will see and adjustment nut, although I doubt that the adjustment is the problem. How long have you had this clutch in? You may need to have the clutch replaced.

1991 Toyota pickup 4WD clutch slipping

There is an adjustment for the clutch pedal under the dash where the push rod goes thru the firewall. There is only aprx. 1/2" of adjustment so be careful when making an adjustment, if your clutch is slipping then you need to shorten the throw of the push rod.

Clutch problem

The rod at the end of the slave cylinder can be adjusted. make sure clutch pedal has no more than an inch and a half of free play. If free play is within the 1.5" & still have problem with clutch disengaging, chances are clutch is worn
