In my 2000 jeep grand Cherokee Laredo 4 × 4 when driving I hear a roaring sound and a vibration under my feet. But when I shift into neutral it stops. Any suggestions?

wild guess. U-joints bad.? (warning, almost all guesses are wrong)
find someone (a mech) with hands to drive it and ears to hear it
and diagnosis.
grab the drive shaft by hand, (parked LOL)
then man handle it. (think mud wrestling)
can you see the joints flex , in a wrong way?
google that or youtube that, and see right and wrong ways.

Are a 1993 4.0 liter high output 2 wheel drive Jeep Grand Cherokee countries have the same block as a 1990 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo 4 wheel drive it also has the 4.0 liter engine but it is not the high...

the first grand cherokee laredo was in 1992 . it was all jeep sports back then, the blocks are all the same .you will need to use some of the sensors from the old motor, the distributor and oil sending unit and temp sensor. will be no problem. if I can put a ford ranger motor in a mercury sable your swap is easier

94 jeep grand cherokee front end vibration

Many things will cause vibrations, especially on 4WD trucks. Causes include: worn ball joints, worn tie rod ends, bent wheels, tires out of balance/shifted belt in tire, worn steering dampener, worn u-joints, worn CV joints, engine problems such as engine misfire, a bad fuel injector clogged fuel filter or injectors, worn ignition parts, etc. I suggest you apply the service brake in gear and give it a lot of throttle (power-brake)to determine if the engine is running smoothly or if it runs rough. Also, with the hood up, you can see the shaking if it occurs. If rough, check everything over and repair as necessary. If smooth, start checking ALL other vehicle systems and repair as necessary.

Vibration when using reverse gear .when shifting to reverse gear i feel vibration like oil pump vibration

Have your motor mounts checked very soon. This only shows in reverse because reverse causes a backward torque than the engine does in forward gear.

My 2002 Grand Cherokee laredo, 6 cyl. Engine appears to have a smaller rectangular filter behind the main Air Filter. It isn't labeled in my manual, so I have no idea of what it is. There is a bolt that...

Thats not an air filter it is a resonator is dampens noise and vibration in the intake system. I believe a regular old 10mm inch and a quarter long bolt will do try threading by hand first then tighten with a wrench.

Cherokee crank pulley removal/repair

the bolt in the center on the damper is contra thread. to get it off use an impact (electric or air powered). and for the damper it is shot. you will have to replace it with a new or used one from a junk yard.

thanks
