It should be mounted on the air intake hose, also known as the mass air flow sensor.

How about the fuel pump...are you getting the fuel to the cylinders? Is the fuel making it through the fuel line through the fuel filter? Drop a few drops in 1 cylinder, if it fires, you have a fuel problem. Does it turn over? If not check out the motor starter!

the intake air temp sensor is in the air snorkel in between the throttle body and the air box. There will be a two wire connector connected to it.

We are putting a 96 blazer motor in a 2001 silverado. The temperature sensor on the block is different and wont work to swap with the one off the siverados block but if we use the one on the 96 the wires...

The 1996 sensor has 3/8 pipe thread and the one for 2001 is more like a bolt thread, right? What I would do, is go buy a brass 3/8 inch pipe plug and drill it and tap to accept the newer sensor. Screw the drilled and tapped plug into the block and the new sensor into it.

Can't locate IAT sensor on 04 fx35

Well first of, what are you looking for the AIT?

But anyways, the AIT should be in the MAF Sensor. Hence all the wires.
OK so i havent taken apart a MAF sensor and neither should you, its a pricey item.

But I do know this; An AIT is an NTC sensor meaning that when tempurature goes resistance goes down and when resistance goes down Voltage goes up. Now one thing you can do is find a wiring diagram of the maf sensor and the vehicles computer. And on there it will show you which wire goes to the AIT.

Any Other question? Just ask me.

96 Chezy Blazer Manual Transmission Removal

Did you remove the transmission lines too? did you remove the linkage from the gear selector to the transmission? And last. Did you remove the plate near the bell housing? If you remove that plate you'll see the flywheel teeth that the starter engages to to spin the engine over.. And you'll see bolts holding the torque converter to the flywheel. You need to remove one bolt.... Turn the engine over by hand at the crankshaft with a ratchet until the next bolt is in a position to remove. Remove it and continue till all the bolts are off.... Then try to remove the transmission... You absolutely have to unbolt the torque converter or it won't pull out. The space to get those bolts out will be fairly tight.. A ratchet wrench would be the fastest. A regular ratchet might fit.. But if it doesn't a box end wrench will work.

Where is the AIT sensor located on a 2007 Mitsubishi Raider?

The AIT sensor is located inside the large black plastic box on top of the engine. There is a 2-wire plug connector that plugs into the driver side of this box that connects the sensor wires. Mods simply remove the plug and attach the new AIT diode to the plug without plugging it back into the black box. Note: Your check engine light will stay on and not much improvement (if any) to performance. I took mine back out and restored back to stock. Don't waste your money on gadgets for the AIT.
