My taurus has the jerks, and sputters?

I have a 99 ford Taurus and my problem is upon take off my car will lose power and stall out. It doesn't cut off however you can't accelerate unless you down shift out of overdrive. The OD light is always blinking as well.

The 1st thing you need to do is go to an Auto zone or Kragen auto and have them run a trouble code test, the OD light is blinking to let you know there is a transmission related fault, but it sounds like the may be other issues like the MAF sensor and passably a low fuel pressure concern.

I need a list of the EGR/Trouble codes for a 1994 Ford SHO Taurus

Sounds like the catalytic converter has gone bad. What happens is you car as you drive will lose power, smell like rotten eggs and stall out. The reason is, the cat. is plugged up and cannot let the exhaust out of the tail pipe like it should. The exhaust is staying in the engine causing it to stall out and loose pwer.
