On the front end of my 1996 vw jetta 2.0 you can jack up the front end and the front right tire has lot play in it and when driving it pulls to right and left when giving it gas

Does it have play in north/south , or west/east direction? Get the bearings and tie rods checked depending on if play is up/down or right/left .... After fixing, get another alignment done if it is bad or if tie rods are replaced.

Front end shakes all the time could it be the tires? it also pulls to the left

A bad tire will cause a pull and can also make the car shake. It could also be loose front end parts. You may need new tires and the front end checked. If you get new tires you should also get an alignment done.Hope this helps.Good luck.

Bumping nose from front end {passenger side} when steering wheel is turned to the left.had car looked at they seem to think it's a busted stru, but it doesn't sit low,and also the tire is showing wear on...

Sounds more like a tie rod end is bad. Try a reliable shop that specializes in front end repair (any place but FIRESTONE). The tire wear could be due to the loose tie rod end throwing the car out of alignment.

Car pulling to left

In most cases when a car pulls it is usually the tires and not the alignment (unless you've recently hit a curb or had front end work done). The best and cheapest way to find out is to rotate your front tires to the rear and rear to the front, and if your car no longer pulls to the left or if anything else changes then you now know that your tires are at fault.

Left front vibrates at 120kph

check tire air pressure, both tire should have equal air pressure!
if pressure is OK, your car left front tire may have part that are worn out already and needs to be replaced. Ex: tie rod end or bearings.

Steering pulling to the right

Yes your car has outer tie rod ends. The steel on steel noise could be the metal plate behind your brake rotor could have got bent a little and is rubbing on the brake rotor.

Just Got A Honda Prelude What Do I look For?

Take a look at the cv joints....the boots that cover the ends that go into the tranny and the end that attaches to the tire area. Look at the color of the oil...see if it is grey or tainted with anything other than motor oil.

Take a look at the belts....cracks fraying, shredding....is the belt tight....that type of thing for the belt inspection....look for shiny spots...leads to squealing.

Drive the vehicle at different speeds....you're paying attention to the "feel" of the steering...this will give you indications of the front end....it pulls left, it pulls right.....wobbles....make turns left and right....listen for clunks....all this will let you know the condition of the front end/steering system.

Get on the highway or open road.....drive about 45-65 and slow down faster than usual...if it pulses in the front end, and you can feel it in the steering wheel...good bet the rotors are warped from high speed braking. Squeeks when you apply breaks....brake wear indicator telling you the brakes are worn.

Jack the front of the car up and twist and pull...push and pull the left and right tire....anby wobble or noises...may have bad bushing/ball joints/cv joints.

there is a lot of stuff to look for...but this is a few things to keep you busy.

Hope this helps you.

Please don't forget to rate.....Thanks
