That's the antifreeze entering and exiting the heater core, which is located behind the glove box of the dashboard. If there is sweet smell or antifreeze on the inside floor on the passenger side, you have a leak in the heater core.
the fan you are referring to is inside the trailblazer on the passenger side behind dash near floor wall? If this is the case it is the heater core and needs to be replaced by a professional. If is is under the hood in the engine compartment it is the water pump in need of replacement? thanks good luck on the heater core..
"antifreeze leak on the right side"Driver side or passenger side? Drivers side is the left side passenger side is the right side.
Most likely it is a lower intake gasket. Very common for this and the 3.1 liter engine. The problem is the 3.4 liter does not like to be run hot. It is entirely possible that the head gaskets have been compromised.
If this is the case you may be better off finding a low mileage used engine from a reputable auto salvage yard. The ones we use are away of this issue and come with the head and intake gaskets already replaced for a very reasonable price.
If you want to try and tackle the lower intake manifold gasket I will be happy to give some pointers. It is not a difficult job just time consuming.

The only antifreeze that goes into your car is two hoses (one in, one out of firewall, behind engine) that connect to what looks like a mini radiator. This is called the heater core. Usually this leaks to the passenger side, however it simply has to be your heater core leaking. Tell them to connect those two hoses together instead of running them into fire wall, and if the problem stops, which it will, to replace the heater core. How big is the leak by the way?
might be a freeze plug leaking, or heater hose. there are three freeze plugs on each side of engine and two in back of engine. most likely if any of them are leaking, it will be the one behind the starter on the far right rear of engine block. they have also been known to leak around the front and rear of intake, where intake, head, and block meet.
engine coolant sensor, unscrewed it with an open end wrench but make sure engine is cold you will loose antifreeze but its ok you can add back when you replace sensor. have a nice day put 50-50 antifreeze
