Nope. If the bellhousing is not lined up correctly that will cause it not to fire. As some of the crank sensors sit there.

I have a 2005 chrysler 300 i replaced the transmission now am hearing a noise underneath sounds like the flywheel

Sounds like you didn't get the torque convertor all the way back into the transmissions gears. Was the flex plate (flywheel) tight against the torque convertor when you bolted it up ? There should have a been a space between the convertor and the flex plate. I made that mistake once and ruined a nearly new transmission.

How would i disconnect the transmission from the motor when the motor is locked up

Try using an impact socket on the balancer bolt, with a 3/4" Johnson bar and a long steel pipe for leverage. If that doesn't work your only other option may be to remove the heads, spray WD40 all around the edge of the pistons, then place a piece of wood like a 4 x 4 on top of each piston and give it a few really good hits with a heavy hammer, that may free the pistons enough so you can turn the crankshaft.

I can't seem to get my motor and transmission to bolt back together theirs about a half inch between them what am I doing wrong please help anyone Its a 95 Pontiac bonneville I'm having the problem...

When you get ready to bolt the transmission back to the engine, you have to make sure that the torque convertor is seated all the way into the transmission. With the transmission and engine put together there should be about 1/2 inch between the flywheel (flexplate) and the torque convertor. It should also spin freely. If not then you might not have the convertor all the way in the trans.

How to reove the torque covenrter form the transmission?

You have to remove the transmission from the vehicle, then unbolt the torque convertor from the flex plate. Once you remove the transmission you will see the torque convertor still bolted to the engine.(BIG ROUND THING)

You will need to take it to a shop to have your torque convertor solenoid and circuit checked. The torque convertor solenoid has a ball ans seat in it and the ball gets stuck at times and lets your convertor stay engaged. the solenoid shouldn't be more than 50.00 and about 2-3 hrs labor cost, plus top off trans mission fluid.

Transmission light cod P0740

PO740 is a TCC/lockup code.TCC stands for Torque Convertor Clutch. In between the engine and transmission is a torque convertor.Inside the torque convertor is a clutch. This clutch engages to eliminate slippage inside the torque convertor. When a malfunction occurs in the system, which is activated by solenoids, and a computer,a TCC code will set. There is a diagnostic route specifically for that code,to determine if the malfunction is electrical, mechanical,or hydraulic.
