I used my car as always put it in park, shut it off, went in the house. The next morning my key will only go quarter to 1/2 of the way into the ignition. The car is in park....It had no signs of someone breaking in..I cant figure it out.

Hi,just food for thought, when you swich off engine and put it in park if you havent tried it already, put foot down on brake peddle and try takeing key out,if not try pressing on brake peddle and switch ignition on and off then see if key comes out.
I have to do this to my car sometimes to get key out hope it works for you.
Hi, You have a 'short circuit' in the system or a bad ground somewhere. Go online and search on the Dodge/Plymouth/Chrysler forums for this issue. I've read about myself but don't recall the common cause.
I would say your ignition cylinder is worn out. get it replaced now, while the key still works. If you wait until it stops working all together, they will charge double because it will have to be cut off of the steering column instead of easily sliding it out. I wouldnt think the lights and door locks are related, just a bad coincedence.
