Question about 2005 Toyota Camry Solara

1 Answer

Seatbelt Problem The seatbelt on the front passenger side of my 2005 Toyota Camry always makes the "dinging" sound even though no one is sitting in the seat. So far, my only solution is to keep it buckled all the time. This isn't too bad, but sometimes it's inconvenient.

How to take out back seat 1998 toyota camry

If you press in hard along the bottom edge of the seat where it meets the carpet, there are 2 locations to find, they are approximately 30cm from each side of the base. They need a good hard push in so they depress and release. If you pull upwards on the edge at the same time it should release.

Pontiac grand prix 2008 seatbelt chime

fastening seat belts is not always the answer as some sensors need weight to cancel the light after the seatbelt is fastened. best have it checked out by an auto electrician as the seats may have been changed and the wiring not properly connected.

Air bag light

there is a wire that is attached via your seatbelt latch that runs under the seat.
It will make a "DING" sound when the seatbelt is unlatched and the the door is open.
Find the wire and pull it out then complete the circuit by wrapping the 2 wires together and maybe throw a little tape on em!
Bam !!!
prob solved.

Or you could just pull the fuse for that sensor. haha

The motor I believe, is located in the pillar between the doors. Remove the trim and pull the plug on the motor itself.
