Question about 2007 GMC Yukon

1 Answer

Sensor trouble I have a 2007 GMC Yukon SLE and my engine light is on and it's not letting my automatic start work. I have had someone look at it and they say it's the throttle control sensor. Where exactly is that sensor at? And is it easy to get to it?

Try to disconnect te battery for 30 min and connect and check if the engine light still on.

the throttle comes after the plastic pipe connected to the air filter from the engine top

Yukon battery drainHave a 2012 Yukon SLE, twice now in the last three months the vehicle won't start after running into the convenience store. Won't jump start on the battery side of the mega fuse, have to...

Have the batter load tested as there may be a faulty bridge inside the battery. Never jump start from any point other that the battery post positive with the negative cable attached to the engine If you continue to jump the way you described then sooner or later you will cause a power surge which will fry the CPU.. Check all cables are shiny clean and tight all the way from the battery posts to the starter.

I have a 2002 GMC Yukon xl, every time you give gas it dies, and then wont start for a lil while, what can this be

Could be low on fuel pressure, or a problem with the throttle position sensor. But if the sensor was faulty you should have a trouble code in the computer and the check engine light should be on.

1993 GMC Sierra SLE will not re-start after stopping and turning off the engine. It will start if you let it cool down for about 10-15 minutes.

Check manifold pressure sensor if present.
Check MAF sensor.
Check water temperature sensor.
Check O2 sensor.
