Question about 1997 Ford Escort
When i start to drive my escort everything seems ok when i start to slow down there is an noise which sounds like something grinding , someone said it is the gearbox slowing the engine down because it is automatic it is similar to a bus/wagon which are automatic they have retarders fitted is this what could be making the noise ?? please help !!
No, what they are tlakign aobut is an exhaust brake, escorts do not have a such thing, if your hearing a grinding, it means you have a busted motor mount.
