1995 lexus 300 large puddle of oil (reddish) under car at front of engine area

If it's reddish then likely it's transmission fluid and if brown or black then engine oil. There are seal conditioners available that may help temporarily. You can try one but if the leak is not much and you can live with it; I would put a catch pan under the car at night and see what accumulates. If only a few drops a night or less then just check and add as needed. If there is a puddle, then check color, reddish - time to see the transmission guy. Black or Brown oil may be the engine is leaking oil. Reddish can also be a leaking power steering line so check power steering fluid level too.

Just have it lifted above at a garage so one can see where the leak or leaks are coming from.

Green= antifreeze
Blackish Brown= engine oil

What kind of color is the leak?

One can also have a large sheet of cardboard under it after running it to see where the spots are.

1st check quality oil and filter, if oil and filter is good, then remove engine oil pan , clean oil pump strainer, instal oil pan , add new oil and check.
if have oil on spark plug inside of cylinder, you need to overhaul the engine, if oil is over the spark plug ,change the valve cover gasket

For 1995 Lexus ES300 3.0L MFI DOHC 6cyl the Oxygen Sensor is located under hood, center, rear engine area, above exhaust pipe flange, mounted in exhaust manifold

Maybe its time for an oil change :)

sometimes the seal in the oil fill cap itself will go bad and oil will spray out you might check that first

under vehicle look for transmission oil pan and note a drain plug, driver sides,loose the 10mm bolts,and remove oil pan then look the filter,replace a new filter,clean the sealant gasket and apply new sealant (silicon) and refill with new oil a/t

Not the oil pump, the most likely cause is the intake and exhaust valve seals, this accounts for the smoke on start up
